Company: Consulty (“we”, “us”, “our”) — buyer’s agency and real-estate advisors in Portugal.
Offer: A free, time-limited consultation (the “Consultation”) delivered by phone or video for Reddit website users.

By booking or attending the Consultation, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1) What “free” means

• The Consultation is free of charge for the scheduled slot (up to 15 minutes), with no obligation to purchase services.

• Any services beyond the Consultation require a separate written Services Agreement (scope, fees, and terms). No fees will be charged without that agreement.

2) Who is eligible

• Individuals aged 18+ and businesses considering property purchase or investment in Portugal.

• Limit: one free Consultation per person/company within any rolling 36-month period, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

• We may decline or reschedule at our discretion (e.g., conflicts of interest, capacity, or unsuitability).

3) Booking, rescheduling, and no-shows

• Please be on time. If you are over 10 minutes late, we may shorten or cancel the session.

• You may reschedule once with at least 24 hours’ notice.

• No-show (or cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice) may make you ineligible for another free Consultation.

4) Scope and limitations

• The Consultation is introductory and informational: to understand your needs, outline possible next steps, and explain how our services work.

• It is not legal, tax, accounting, appraisal, engineering, or investment advice; and does not include document review or due diligence.

• We recommend you seek independent professional advice (lawyer, tax adviser, lender, surveyor) before making decisions.

5) No guarantees or promises

• We do not guarantee outcomes, financing approval, yield, price movements, or transaction timing.

• Any market commentary is general information as of the date provided and may change.

6) No client–advisor relationship (yet)

• The Consultation does not create a client relationship, mandate, representation, or exclusivity.

• We only become your advisor/agent once both parties sign a Services Agreement/Engagement Letter.

7) Conflicts of interest; buyer representation

• Consulty acts as a buyer’s agency. If a potential conflict arises, we will disclose it and may decline or terminate the Consultation.

• We do not accept fees or incentives that would compromise our duty to a signed client. Any referral arrangements (e.g., with lenders) will be disclosed where required.

8) Information you share

• You are responsible for ensuring any information you provide is accurate and lawful to share.

• Do not send confidential documents before an engagement is signed. If you choose to share them, you do so at your own risk and we may limit our review.

9) Privacy and communications (GDPR)

• We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy (purpose: booking, delivering the Consultation, and relevant follow-up).

• By booking, you consent to us contacting you by the details you provide (email/phone/messenger) about the Consultation and related services.

• You can opt out of marketing at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

• For GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, etc.), contact [privacy@yourdomain.com]. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

10) Recording and note-taking

• We do not record calls by default. If a recording would be useful (e.g., to share with you), we will ask for explicit consent first.

• We may keep internal notes to help deliver the Consultation and any prospective services.

11) Third-party introductions

• If we introduce you to third parties (e.g., lenders, surveyors, lawyers), this is for convenience only. We do not control or guarantee their services.

• Any engagement with third parties is directly between you and them and subject to their terms.

12) Intellectual property

• Any materials we share (checklists, guides, slides) are our intellectual property. You may use them for your personal internal use only and not redistribute without permission.

13) Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Consultation is provided “as is” and we exclude all warranties (express or implied).

• Our total liability for the free Consultation is limited to €0. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14) Compliance and fair use

• You agree not to use the Consultation to solicit, defraud, or violate applicable laws/regulations (including property, financial-services, AML/CTF rules).

• We may end the Consultation if behavior is abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful.

15) Changes to this offer

• We may modify, suspend, or withdraw the free Consultation offer at any time, but changes won’t affect sessions already confirmed.

16) Governing law and jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.

• Courts of Porto, Portugal have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer forum rights you may have.
